Terms and Conditions — Dharty (ધરતી)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Dharty ("the App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. About Dharty

Dharty is a free Android app built for farmers across India, providing daily agricultural market prices, price history, and a crop calculator. The App requires no login or sign-up and is provided at no cost, funded through advertising.

3. Independent App — No Government or Private Affiliation

Dharty is an independent application, built and maintained by an individual developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any government department, government body, or private organization — including the original source of the market price information shown in the App.

Content across the App (market prices and other publicly sourced information) is drawn from public government and third-party platforms and is provided for informational purposes only. Dharty does not provide any official government service, and does not own, control, or hold any exclusive right over the underlying government APIs or data it displays.

Before making any decision based on information in the App — including selling a crop — please confirm the details directly with the relevant official source or portal.

4. Market Price Information

• Market prices shown in the App are sourced from AGMARKNET, via the Government of India's open data platform (data.gov.in).
• Because of how the source publishes data, prices shown may reflect the previous day's trade, not necessarily today's live price.
• Some market yards do not report their prices to data.gov.in, or report late. Where a price is missing or appears incorrect at the source, we are not able to correct or supplement it, and we take no responsibility for gaps or inaccuracies originating from the government data feed.
• The App does not display market yard purchase limits, per-crop quotas, or information about when a market yard closes purchasing for a particular crop.
• Price history shows past prices as reported to AGMARKNET through data.gov.in. Some dates or market yards may be missing if they did not report, so the history may have gaps. It is a reference to past prices only and is not a forecast of future prices.
• The App is an informational reference only, not trading or investment advice. Please do not make a final decision to sell your crop at a particular market based solely on the App — verify current conditions with the official government source or the mandi directly before acting.

5. Crop Calculator

The crop calculator in Dharty is provided to give you a basic financial picture based on the numbers you enter. It is meant for general, everyday use only, and it is not a basis for final decisions. Actual costs, yields, and prices differ from farm to farm and from season to season. Before you make any change on your farm — such as what to grow, how much to invest, or when to sell — please check the real conditions on the ground and your own requirements, and consult a local agricultural expert where needed. The results are estimates, not guarantees, and Dharty is not responsible for any decision made on the basis of them.

6. App Design

The App's user interface was designed using AI (artificial intelligence) tools as an original design process — it is not copied from any other application. The interface is intentionally built for simple, clear navigation suited to farmers using the App.

7. Images

The images used in the App are predominantly AI-generated originals, created specifically for Dharty. We do not knowingly copy or reproduce any third party's copyrighted artwork or photography. If any image in the App unintentionally resembles existing third-party work, this is coincidental rather than deliberate copying. If you believe an image infringes your rights, please contact us at the email below with details, and we will review the matter in good faith.

8. Advertising

Dharty is provided at no cost and is funded through advertising shown inside the App via Google AdMob. These advertisements exist solely to support the App's maintenance and continued availability — Dharty does not receive any share of a sale made through an ad, and does not review, verify, or endorse the products, services, or claims shown in them. We may turn ads on or off in different parts of the App at any time, without an app update.

Ads are selected automatically by Google's ad network based on its own systems, not chosen or curated by us. Because Dharty is an agriculture-focused app, a meaningful share of the ads shown may be for other farming apps, agricultural products, or agriculture-related services — this is a normal outcome of how ad networks target relevant content, and does not mean Dharty is affiliated with, partnered with, or endorsing any advertiser, including competing farming apps.

Dharty is not responsible for the accuracy of claims made in third-party advertisements, and any transaction, download, or interaction you have with an advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser.

9. No Warranty

The App and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dharty and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss — including crop loss, financial loss, or missed sale opportunity — arising from your use of, or reliance on, information provided in the App.

11. Intellectual Property

The Dharty app, its branding, and its original content (including AI-generated images created for the App) are the property of the App's developer, except for government market data sourced from AGMARKNET/data.gov.in, which remains public government data, and any third-party material explicitly credited within the App.

12. Official Download Source

Dharty is available only on the Google Play Store. We do not distribute the App through any other website, app store, or platform. A copy of Dharty obtained from any other source is not an official version, and we cannot verify its safety or how it works. These Terms apply only to the official version of Dharty on Google Play, and we are not responsible for any fraud, loss, or harm arising from a copy downloaded from a third-party platform. Please install Dharty only from the Google Play Store.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the App evolves. Changes will be reflected here and inside the App, with the "Last Updated" date revised. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Other Important Points

These Terms and our Privacy Policy together are the full agreement between you and Dharty for using the App. They replace anything we said or agreed before.

If a court decides that any part of these Terms is not valid, the rest of the Terms still apply.

If we do not use one of our rights or rules right away, it does not mean we have given it up. We can still use it later.

15. Law and Courts

These Terms follow the laws of India. If there is any dispute about these Terms or about using the App, it will be decided by the courts of Gujarat, India.
